Maarten Vrolijk

Maarten Vrolijk is a Dutch artist and designer based in Amsterdam whose work transforms everyday objects into expressive, sculptural pieces.

Guided by a fascination with nature, color, and material, his work explores form in a playful yet refined way, celebrating simplicity while introducing the unexpected. For over 25 years, his work has been exhibited and collected internationally, including by the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Groninger Museum.
